Fifth Grade Student Wins Regional Contest

Last year, Riviera Day School participated in the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery's (FSDDS) Sun Defense Essay Contest, designed to help educate children and parents about the importance of sun safety and to promote literacy.  One of our students, 5th grader Joseph Alaimo, won the regional essay contest and Riviera Day School was awarded with a 25' by 25' sun shade that was erected next to our basketball courts.

We are extremely proud of Joey and thank him for making our school safer from the effects of our wonderful Florida sunshine!
