Future City Competition
 
Mr. Rodriguez' Advanced Computer Skills students participated in the Nation Engineers Week Future City Competition at the Engineering Center of Florida International University this past Saturday.
 
The students Ariel Sassoon, Nicholas Brown, and Nicholas Minton presented their physical model and won the Special Award for the Most Efficient Transportation System in a Future City. The students also created a virtual city and collaborated to write a city narrative and research essay on the effects of water runoff in South Florida. Our school was also awarded a check for $100 by the Florida Engineering Society, Miami Chapter.
