The computer lab serves as a focal point of technology for students from kindergarten through eighth grade and is an integral part of the curriculum for our student body. Not only do students gain valuable experience with the Internet and keyboarding, but they also work on various applications including word processing, graphics, database, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Moreover, collaborative instruction maximizes the benefits of the computer lab as students become experts with technology while working on individual subject area objectives. Additionally, this approach allows technology to be used not just as a goal in and of itself, but rather as a tool and a resource in developing higher level thinking skills.

The lab is equipped so that each student benefits from a one-to-one computing experience. Additionally, the lab incorporates SmartBoard technology to engage the students and facilitate the learning process.
