Music lessons are also an important part of the curriculum. All students in preschool through fifth grade regularly visit the music room for lessons in rhythm, singing, reading music, and playing instruments. The early childhood program also integrates music into the core curriculum -- children will dance, sing, and enjoy music as a part of regular classroom activities. Riviera Day School students always provide great entertainment for parents and family members in our annual Holiday Programs. Those children who are most interested can also join the chorus and band which perform frequently at different community events. Other students enjoy participating in after school instrumental and voice lessons. Riviera Preparatory School students also have opportunities for participation in music programs such as chorus and band.
