Computer Science

The Computer Science program of study engages high school students in computational thinking. This program comprises introductory, foundation, and specialty courses. This emerging course of study begins with Introduction to Computer Science and is followed by two Advanced Placement courses: Computer Science Principles and Computer Science Applications. All significant computer science courses build upon a foundation of mathematical reasoning that should be acquired before attempting such a course. A variety of specialty courses and a capstone course complete content for the program.
