Banyan Hall’s multi-purpose gymnasium is designed to support Riviera students both on and beyond the court. Built to meet competitive athletic requirements and regulations, the space provides an elevated environment for training, competition, and athletic development. The space will also create opportunities for our Riviera Day School students to participate in competitive athletic events in a state-of-the-art setting.

Its flexible design also transforms the gymnasium into a dynamic venue for school assemblies, performances, guest speakers, special events, and community gatherings.

The specialized law classroom brings the study of law to life through an environment designed for discussion, analysis, debate, and applied learning. Students engage with the principles and practices of the legal profession while developing skills in critical thinking, research, communication, and advocacy.

Designed to move beyond traditional instruction, the space gives students opportunities to examine real-world legal questions, participate in mock trials, articulate positions, consider competing perspectives, and build the confidence to defend their ideas. Through these immersive experiences, students gain a deeper understanding of how legal principles are applied in practice while developing the communication and analytical skills essential to success in college and beyond.

It is an environment that prepares students not simply to study law, but to think critically, advocate thoughtfully, and approach complex challenges with the confidence of future scholars, advocates, and leaders.

The Broadcasting Room is designed as a hands-on media environment where students experience the full production process, from the classroom to the control room to the studio.

Featuring three distinct spaces, a classroom, a control room, and a dedicated news anchor and filming area, the facility allows students to develop skills in journalism, broadcasting, production, storytelling, and digital media. Viewing windows provide a behind-the-scenes look into the action, making the creative process visible and collaborative.

Students gain experience with the tools and workflows used in professional media environments while developing skills that extend far beyond broadcasting: communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
