Families stay informed through progress reports, teacher communication, parent conferences, and opportunities to view student work and achievements throughout the year.
The Law Studies program builds students’ critical thinking, analytical reasoning, communication, collaboration, ethical decision-making, and public speaking skills. By exploring legal issues, landmark cases, and contemporary topics, students learn to evaluate evidence, consider multiple perspectives, and develop well-supported arguments.
Within our preparatory school in Coral Gables setting, students apply these skills through debates, mock legal proceedings, research projects, presentations, and collaborative activities that reflect real-world legal and civic processes.
Students at Riviera’s Prep Campus grow in language proficiency and cultural knowledge through the study of Spanish, Italian, and French in World Languages. These courses strengthen communication while encouraging engagement with different perspectives, customs, and international contexts.
Regular grades and assessments help monitor progress and promote continued improvement in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Students may also prepare for AP testing where applicable, further reflecting Riviera’s relevance for families searching for an advanced placement school in Miami students can attend.
Experiential learning brings Riviera’s Law Studies program to life. Students step beyond the classroom to visit courthouses, meet judges and attorneys, hear from guest speakers, and take part in legal simulations and mock trial experiences that show how the justice system works in practice.
