Riviera Schools is proud to have received the Fairchild Challenge Gold Award, recognizing the Environmental Club's commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and active participation in one of South Florida's leading environmental education competitions.
Riviera Preparatory School is proud to be recognized as a 2025–2026 Project Lead The Way Distinguished High School, a national designation awarded to schools that demonstrate exceptional achievement in STEM education and a strong commitment to preparing students for college and future careers.
This recognition also reflects the strength of Riviera’s faculty, with PLTW educators completing specialized training to deliver a curriculum aligned with current industry standards and best practices in STEM education.
Riviera Schools' Environmental Club earned the Gold Award at the Fairchild Challenge, an environmental education competition hosted by the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
The Fairchild Challenge brings together students from schools across South Florida to take part in project-based challenges focused on environmental science, sustainability, and creative problem-solving. The Gold Award recognizes outstanding performance across these challenges, reflecting students' scientific knowledge, collaboration, innovation, and ability to apply their learning to real-world environmental issues.
