Welcome to Riviera's Counseling Department. Our mission is to support and guide all students academically, socially, and emotionally on their path to graduation. We are devoted to the development of the whole child, and we want to make sure that all students feel like they are a part of our Riviera family.

Counselors maintain an open door policy and work intimately with each student in grades six through twelve. In addition to individual student meetings, counselors organize a series of seminars and workshops for students and for parents throughout the year. The department often hosts college and university representatives on our campus to meet with students as they explore their future. Counselors also lead students on college visits both in and out of state.

The individual strengths and areas of proficiency of each of our counselors, along with many years of experience, create an incredibly strong, cohesive, and dynamic counseling department. With expertise in college planning and the college admission process, as well as personal counseling, learning strategies, curriculum development, and scheduling, the counseling team is an integral and comprehensive resource for both students and parents.
